I presented to my friends the project that I have participated in “Be happy, be a polyglot!” in Macedonia. I told them about the topic and all the interesting activities we did during our 7-day stay. My friends really liked the idea behind it, all the workshops that we did, and they became even more curious so they started asking me a lot of questions about the experience, which countries took part in it and why exactly those countries participated in the project. They asked me about how they can apply to such projects, the places I’ve visited, the languages I’ve learned and the friendships I’ve built. I was happy to answer all their questions and even more enthusiastic to share events and stories from the exchange. I shared everything with my friends, all my photos, some videos and also the Instagram page of the hosting organization. I achieved the result that they really became engaged and interested in Erasmus+ projects and I’m certain that they will take part in a project like this soon. I’m happy because I saw them really enjoying the moment and asking me a lot about my experience.
In conclusion, I will definitely take part in more Erasmus+ projects hopefully some of them together with my friends, because each project is one of a kind experience that you will remember for the rest of your life, I also think that with this kind of projects, you can improve your English level for sure and they also give you the opportunity to meet a lot of new people from other countries and cultures. I recommend talking with everyone, being friendly and never staying silent. Especially projects organized around beautiful nature like the one in Krushevo, are a big step and a moment for people like me that live in big cities to see how It is to live in small towns and to keep in contact with nature.
The material that we used and was presented to us during the youth exchange about the Erasmus+ programme is great and super helpful for youngsters. I’m looking forward to sharing it with everyone that’s interested, including the ways of applying and the Facebook groups that have all the info on new and current projects.
