We organized in our community 25 Youth in Action/Erasmus Plus projects about different topics (media, non-formal education, entrepreneurship etc.), involving more than 900 young people, local and international partners. In addition, we prepared and sent 1000 youth and youth workers in more than 350 projects as partners, in 41 countries.
Therefore, this project is an important opportunity for us because our team will have the chance to share their knowledge and local, international experiences in non-formal education context. In the same time, we will have the opportunity to learn more about the topic of the project.
Some examples of the projects we already implemented in our organisation, with the support of European funds are:

The project called “Tirgu Frumos Volunteer Center”, increased the engagement of volunteers, developed innovative methodologies to work with youth with fewer opportunities and trained a committed team of volunteers with youth working skills, sense of initiative and community development interests. The Volunteering Centers contributed to the development of two Erasmus + projects that tackled social entrepreneurship which were implemented during 2016, in Romania. These projects: Grow your NGO and SET UP, involved 55 youth workers from 9 countries.
In the summer of 2018, we developed the first experiential Rroma museum, in Băiceni, Cucuteni, Romania, involving 40 youth from 8 countries, being funded by Erasmus Plus.
In 2019, the organisation hosted 32 volunteers from Norway, France, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, Colombia and Mexico that involved 2000 beneficiaries from 24 villages and small cities in non-formal activities in sports, arts and youth-working activities.

In 2021, we have in implementation three European projects: Arts Lab 2.0., Arts Lab 3.0 – two European Solidarity Corp projects and Craftastic, a youth exchange under Erasmus+.
Due the Covid-19 situation, we started to invest time and resources in developing virtual reality (VR) skills and adapt the newest technologies to youth working context. Currently we are using a robot (Vector) to motivate children to learn English, we use the Oculus technology to explore and learn about arts, science, sports, and 3D filming for more engaging online experiences: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=qfesimaqz6c – our youth center in 3D.
