The morning of the second day of “Be Happy, Be a Polyglot” started with a competitive energizer of the knight protecting the princess from the mighty dragon. This led us energized into the first-morning session that was dedicated to planning and preparing for the next two days of activities. The aim was to organize workshops from scratch that will teach the other participants about our own languages. We have been split into national groups, in order to prepare to share the history, origin, interesting facts and some particularities of our respective languages.
The second part of the morning started with the workshop on the Macedonian language, held by the Macedonians group. We learned about the Macedonian Cyrillic alphabet, pronunciation, numbers as well as basic phrases on how to introduce ourselves, share what we like and dislike or just to get around. Probably the most fun part of the workshop was the learning of tongue twisters and famous Macedonian songs.
